It’s been more busy than normal for mi Mija Divina. We didn’t have any Dr appointments this Thursday. We’re actually free from Dr’s until around the 20th of the month. That week is going to be busy too.
On the 1st we took our blended family, car full and all on a 4.5-hour drive to the Consulate in Doral. Filled up every seat and cupholder space.🥤
We left the house around 4:15 in the morning to get to our 10 am appointments. Fortunately for us, traffic seems to be lighter on Thursday mornings. I think we found the golden goose of a commute.
For reference, I am the chofer=driver, PaPi [Eddi] is the copilot, navigator holder. Divina winds up behind me, with Mardo, & JD filling up the other spots.
All of our family is now ADULTS, in age and physical form. However, due to the circumstances of their immigration cases and Divina’s diagnosis. We still have our KIDS with us at home.
I expect the boys will be here about 2 years more while they learn to spread their wings, & hopefully learn some English.
Divina was out on her own a couple of times. On her own as a young lady all the way to Texas. Then again as a married couple.
Once, she was under the impression that if she moved out, she couldn’t return home.
When she went into the wellbeing hospital, it was important that she knew she would always have a home with me. I told her my tummy was her first home, & wherever this tummy is at, she will always have a home. We will always be together unless she chooses of stable mind that she can manage this monster.
Right now it’s a monster, but we’re going to work our mother daughter miracle to transform it into something else.
It’s hard for anyone from the outside to realize what a challenge this disease causes for its host. That beautiful smile really doesn’t allow anyone to comprehend that there is so much going on in her head and body. Who knew it was a body infirmity too? I didn’t. We are learning together.
Well, we managed out all day outing, and back to work waiting for mom to get off work on Friday. We went out briefly to pick up quick dinners for everyone.
Then we started reading a new book together in bed. We made it through the introduction, and we realized it was a wonderful choice. We’ll link it below with an #AdLink.
Her attention span is hard on her with comprehensive things. It just depends on how she’s feeling, due to having a lot of pain.
We haven’t found out where the source of all this pain is coming from yet. That is the reason for all the DRs visits.
At one time, she thought she had lupus-self diagnosed. The lab reports do not support the diagnosis. But she didn’t know then about the schizophrenia, and we are learning that it is more than a mental illness, it has very physical symptoms too.
There is so much to learn in our very short life spans. All the more reason to love who is with you, while you have them close.
